October News
We are excited about our up-and-coming KIDS' CORNER, which will be unveiled on our website in November. A sneak preview of the first product to be featured in this new collection is delightfully named "Potty Pony Pals."
The story that inspired a local Bend, Oregon mom to first come up with this groundbreaking potty training idea, and then to take it all the way to the national level, is intriguing. Her product is making waves across the U.S. as more and more people are being introduced to the most innovative, playful, and entertaining potty training system ever invented... And oh, did I mention its phenomenal success rate? More on this novel product next month, I promise.

The Learning Center
In our September newsletter we talked about a system that prolongs
the life of a fragrance lamp's wick stone. Upon reflection, the question
occurred, "How many people KNOW what a fragrance lamp is, or the history behind
this fascinating creation? Perhaps we should backtrack and start at the beginning. Fragrance Lamps came into being in the late 1800's in France
where they were used in hospitals to eliminate odor and bacteria. They operate
without a flame with the exception of a 2-4 minute initial burn time to light
the lamp. The flame is then
extinguished and the lamp is in operation. The solution that was used in the
turn of the century lamps remains in use today with one significant change - the addition of sensuous fragrances.
Modern day lamps simultaneously purify the air while filling an entire
environment with luxurious scent in less than an hour. A fragrance lamp is a
stunning creation that provides beauty and pleasure for years on end. As an original gift It is unsurpassed. Fragrances
and replacement wick stones are available. For more information and history please click here.

Firelight Thoughts
From our
little perch in Bend, Oregon, we wish each of you a magnificent October, filled with autumn leaves and bewitching goblins. The mention of autumn leaves brings to mind a wonderful book
we read years ago. It was titled "LOVE"... by Leo F. Buscaglia. Do any of you
remember it? In this book, Leo shares a
true story about the sheer frustration he saw on the faces of neighbors as they
raked autumn leaves from their lawns and gardens....and then later requested that he do
the same. So enamored was this author with these stunning creations of
nature...their crunching sound beneath his feet...their brilliant color...and priceless beauty... that he became bound and determined to savor each precious moment.
Carrying his leaves from outdoors into his house, he spread them throughout,
creating a beautiful, indoor autumn leaf carpet. There he stood, surrounded by the breathtaking beauty and
crunching sounds of this majestic season. Richard and I were literally
captivated by this enchanting vision...... From our hearts to yours come wishes for
"An Autumn to Remember."
Please feel free to call 800-218-2729 or email us
any time with your thoughts, suggestions or to just talk. We love hearing from
you. Margee and Richard
