Hello Family and Friends... and a "Special Welcome" to our newly registered customers.
Firelight Candles has been "in motion" for the past two months, as Richard and I have been moving ourselves into a new home, and our products into a new warehouse. Oh such "joy", as you all know! The best part is nearing the end of this massive project before the heat of summer strikes with a vengeance. Thank you all for your support and understanding during this time.
We hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July weekend with family and friends. Here in Bend, Oregon mouthwatering smells of grilled chicken, hamburgers and hot dogs permeated the early evening air as neighbors gathered in groups for this traditional celebration. Later, as the sky darkened, came the dazzling fireworks display from the top of a mountain that is situated in the center of this small city. Accompanying the "ooohs and aaaah's were the sounds of barking dogs and the patriotic music in sync with the fireworks... echoing through the soft breeze. It must be true that fireworks never lose their special magic or ability to capture our imaginations, no matter our age, or how many times we have seen these spectacular shows... With eyes turned upward, eagerly anticipating the "next" one, we find ourselves transported back to that world of childhood fantasy... where all our cares and concerns have ceased to exist for this one moment in time.
